Birthday Trip to Winter Wonderland

A trip up to Winter Wonderland – Zermatt, Switzerland over the birthday weekend together with J & J :)

I had the chance to have snowball fights!

I had the chance to dive into snow, well.. not quite, but at least till my knee level!

I had the chance to eat the best sausage ever!

I had the chance to eat ice cream up at -16 degree celcius, not worrying it will melt, at all!

I had the chance to ski for the first time in my life, glad I’ve learnt ice skating before which made skiing much easier than expected though carrying the equipments was a total chore.

I had the chance to realise that you guys really know what I like: none other than Ramseier Jus de Pomme, and also Sausages and Rosti at -22 degree celcius!

I had the chance to spend my 20th birthday in winter wonderland, which I never thought I’d ever be spending it this way!

Thank you for the lovely trip up at this height as seen in the picture below:

I was truly happy during the weekend, I really was. I understood what was happiness and bliss once again. Thank you so much guys, my awesome travel partners. I was this happy, just so you know:

Most importantly, thank you Daddy and Mummy for trusting and leaving me in the care of these two gentlemen, allowing me to have so much fun by saying a definite ‘yes’ to me going up to Zermatt to spend my 20th birthday in winter wonderland :)

  1. Looked like you had an amazing time! My fave beverage is Jus de Pomme too! And I must make a mental note to try having ice-cream up in the mountains… most times, I’m trying to deal with the freezing.. hehe

    • I really did! Yes yes try having a bottle of beer, wine or ice cream up in the mountains – always icy cold! I still want a ski outfit likes yours, really colourful and fun, easy to spot amongst the white fluffy snow too haha!
