Just an hour ago, I received the following e-mail that made me tear:
Dear Teo,
Thank you very much for your email and congratulations on your examination results. We have added this information to your online application.
We are pleased to inform you that based on a preliminary review of your application for admission to the International Hospitality Management programme; we would like to invite you to a selection day at the School.
The selection day is an important step in the admission process. It provides the opportunity for us to get to know you better and to explore together your aptitudes and motivation for the hospitality business.
You are invited to attend the Selection Day on Thursday 19 May at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne from 9:30 am till approximately 6:30 pm, as a tentative schedule. Once you have confirmed your attendance, we will contact you within 5 days of the selection day and provide you with all the necessary information.
We will make every effort to inform you about the Admissions Commission’s decision approximately mid-June 2011. The decision will be communicated in writing.
We look forward to hearing from you shortly, and to welcoming you to our campus.
Now I have so much I need to do, I’m way overwhelmed. Starting from looking at the schedule, in between CCA Awards Ceremony 2011 on the 11 May and then Temasek Polytechnic Graduation Ceremony on the 24 May. I have to think about airfares, travel itineraries – places to visit, accommodation, experiencing campus life, preparing the documents to be brought there… and the list goes on. In one month’s time, or even earlier than that, things have to be settled and done. Can’t wait. Busy, but I know if this is what I want – I want to do it and I will do it! GO GO SHINN!
Awesome Shinn! Congratulations!!!!
This marks a brand new beginning for you and also a step closer to your dreams. You go Shinn!
Thank you Xueshen!
Congratulations Shinn! Awesome awesome news
Thank you Ms Goh! Yeah I’ll do my best
